I think the point here is that this will an airline flying domestic routes with a service (certainly in economy) comparable to and better than international services, and certainly much better than any other product offerings from competitors in the domestic segment. The airline is going to price its seats competitively and so is unlikely to be "... way more expensive than any other airline."
So the fact that your Turkish Airlines flight had a similar (but actually inferior) service is not the point here.

Good point, but my biggest problem with VA's service is that some of its functions (such as movies) are pay-per-use (view).
